Between Science and Philosophy: Hypotheses on the Existence of God and the Future Evolution of Humanity into a Deity

Abstract


The article posited that questions regarding the existence of God and the possibility that human civilization could develop divine faculties and become akin to Him might, someday, be answered using certain methods. However, this aspect has not received sufficient academic attention. In recent decades, this debate has resulted in the emergence of new theories on topics such as the simulated universe and Omega Point. After a careful analysis of these theories, I concluded that, in the future, the enigmas surrounding God and humanity’s potential to become a Creator may be confirmed or refuted through various means, such as artificial intelligence, contact with extraterrestrial civilizations, and in-depth exploration of cosmological mathematics and information. Thus, this article shows that science and philosophy are both essential in clarifying questions regarding the possible existence of God and whether humankind will acquire divine abilities.
